Laboratories
Each of the following laboratories is equipped with extensive audio visual equipment to assist in the presentation of microscope, video and 35mm slide images to television monitors placed around the laboratory. An over-head camera allows active demonstrations, text or diagrams to be displayed. This ensures that all seating positions in the laboratories are able to view any presentations.
Level 2
This laboratory has an optimum seating capacity of 112. There is provision to expand this to 126 by utilising a demonstration bench if necessary. Entry is via the East (Lift) end of the building.
Each student place is equipped with a binocular dissecting microscope, and a compound microscope.
Level 3
This laboratory has an optimum seating capacity of 112. An additional 8 seats can be accomodated by utilising a demonstration bench if necessary. In addition this laboratory is also equipped with a bench specifically designed to accomodate two wheel chairs. Entry is via the West (stairwell) end of the building.
Each student place is equipped with a binocular dissecting microscope.
